ALEXEY GERMAN'S "DOVLATOV" INCLUDED IN THE OFFICIAL COMPETITION OF BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL
Alexey German's 'Dovlatov' depicting few days in the life of the cult Russian writer Sergey Dovlatov, will participate in the official competition of the next Berlin film festival - as well as the new works by such renowned directors as Gus Van Sant ("Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot"), Philip Groening ("My Brother's Name is Robert, and He's an Idiot") and Benoit Jacquot ('Eva'). Serbian actor Milan Maric is Dovlatov in the German's film which also stars Danila Kozlovsky, Helena Sujecka, Artur Beschastny, Elena Lyadova, Anton Shagin and Svetlana Hodchenkova. That's a second in a row showing in Berlinale's competition for German: his previous film "Under the Electric Sky" was awarded Silver Bear for the great artistic achievement there. Congratulations!
