During excavation works on Wrangel Island, a baby mammoth, sleeping in a manmade cryogenic sarcophagus, is found. An obsessed scientist, who heads the expedition, decides to keep the discovery secret from public and dissect the baby mammoth for cloning and sales. But a 16-year-old lab trainee and a 15-year old animal rights fighter accidentally find out that the baby mammoth has a mind and help him escape and go back to Wrangel Island to solve the mystery of his origins.
