The protagonist is Sergey Sotnikov, the deputy chief of the Sochi Police Department, known by his nickname — the Speeder. Despite being around 40 and a police officer who should live by the book, he remains a devil-may-care spirit at heart and enjoys flaunting the rules. Instead of using a police car, he zips around the city on his motorbike. Sotnikov could have easily become the Head of Criminal Investigations or even the Police Chief long ago, but he avoids office work like the plague. With murders, robberies, and assaults occurring throughout the city, the Speeder ensures he doesn’t miss a single one. Sochi is safe, with its hero keeping the city under his watchful eye.
