In 1942, Red Army officer Nikolai Kiselyov is tasked with evacuating over 200 Jewish women, children, and elderly men from Nazi-occupied Belarus, where they face brutality and death. These exhausted, starving, and terrified survivors, deeply scarred by the horrors they have endured, must journey hundreds of kilometers through forest paths in search of survival and a renewed hope for the future.
