Drybone the Immortal and shieldmaiden Barbara are preparing for their wedding, but not all of Barbara's relatives are happy about this union. Her strong-willed aunt, Queen Brungilda, is sure: her niece deserves a more suitable match. In a misguided attempt to stop the wedding, she unwittingly spills a powerful sleeping charm on Barbara.
