The protagonist is Sergey Sotnikov, the deputy chief of Sochi Police Department. Everyone calls him by his nickname – the Speeder. Despite being around 40 and a policeman, who ought to live by the book, he’s still a devil-may-care boy at heart, and likes to flaunt the rules.
