Syria is an archaeological gem and the cradle of civilization, where Judaism, Christianity, and Islam converge. However, ongoing military actions in the country have placed significant heritage sites such as the basalt ruins of Bosra, the cave city of Maaloula, the limestone structures of Saidnaya, and the eternal capital of the Middle East — Damascus — on the brink of total disappearance.
To preserve these priceless cultural landmarks, Syrian and Russian experts have collaborated on extensive restoration efforts and initiated the creation of 3D models of the ancient cities. This project provides a unique opportunity to witness their original forms. Alongside the filmmakers, audiences can follow in the footsteps of Adam and Eve, unravel historical enigmas, and explore the rich tapestry of Syria's diverse cultural legacy.
