Yuri Kolokolnikov
began his career in 1998 and has already appeared in more than 80 films. Yuri first came to international prominence when he was cast as Styr in ‘Game of Thrones’ in 2014. Since then, he has worked continuously on high profile projects both in Russia and internationally.
Yuri’s recent international work includes: the role of Volkov in the feature film ‘Tenet’ (2020) by acclaimed writer-director Christopher Nolan, the role of Baasha Zia opposite Ryan Reynolds in Michael Bay’s action thriller ‘6 Underground’ (2019). He also portrayed the series regular Gennadi Bystrov in the Emmy Award-winning drama ‘The Americans’ (2017, 2018) and the role in the feature film ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ directed by Patrick Hughes.

About the KEY BUYERS EVENT
The KEY BUYERS EVENT is a unique content market that allows Russian producers to present their projects and services to international distributors. In 2021, the market will be held for the third time. The event is organized by ROSKINO and supported by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow and the Agency for Creative Industries.
First KEY BUYERS EVENT was held in October 2019 with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.The offline event attracted buyers and commissioners acquiring content for over 60 territories and screened over 120 Russian films, TV series and animation projects.
The second KEY BUYERS EVENT was held online in June 2020. The event was organized by ROSKINO and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow. KEY BUYERS EVENT: Digital edition gathered over 1,400 participants from the global film industry including 600 international distributors from 70 countries.
